Lucky me! A coworker invited me to learn how to pin insects she and her husband had collected on a camping trip. I got a lovely tour of the University of Kentucky greenhouses and saw a lovely collection of tropical plants, including these carnivorous plants!

Next thing we crack open a bottle of Zombie Dust (a coveted beer, I hear) and start to sticking! I learned that the seventeen year cicaida was four years early and that spiders are soft bodied and don't really pin that well.
